I was given a couple of requirements for this logo design. First and foremost, it had to incorporate a turtle. Secondly, the owner - a neuromuscular massage therapist - wanted it to reflect a down to earth nature. When researching these elements I came across the graphic symbol for earth (a circle with a cross through it), which also reflects the cross symbol for health and medical care.
